Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and assessing diversity and inclusion trainings, cultural and interpersonal workshops and events, analyzing workforce data in support of DEI strategies and initiatives, preparing and presenting data summary and progress reports, and responding to DEI data requests. In addition, you will participate in the evaluation of Agency policies, practices, and operations, and provide assistance in updates that are consistent with the implementation of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative.
Competencies and Qualificaitons
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and presentation skills. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience with leading and/or supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, conducting diversity and inclusion training programs, educational, cultural, and/or recreational programming and working with traditionally underrepresented groups. The selected candidate will be required to maintain of a valid California Driver’s license and the ability to be insured at the standard rate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to maintain a stationary position, operate computers and other office equipment, move about the office, attend onsite and offsite meetings, and communicate. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; reach above shoulder; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to accurately exchange information in person, in writing and via e-mail and telephone. The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, push, pull and/or move up to 5 pounds, and occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
